The Territory Leader – Beverage On-Premise Sales, Chicago position is a full-time role that is Circle’s brand & culture ambassador within Chicago. The Territory Leader – Beverage On-Premise Sales is a critical part of our mission in Helping people find balance and feel good. One sip at a time. Key Accountability: The Territory Leader – Beverage On-Premise Sales’s success is determined by Wholesale revenue and number of On-Premise Partner Accounts in Chicago.
What is “On-Premise?” It is any place where the consumer will enjoy the beverage on-site (ie: Restaurants, Bars, Breweries, Coffee Shops, Cafes, Offices…). The role is crucial in Circle’s mission of making healthy, functional beverages accessible for people to enjoy anywhere they go, not just the grocery store.

As the Territory Leader – Beverage On-Premise Sales in Chicago, you will…
Sales Activities: Maintain and Grow the Territory (Sales Activities):
Develop leads & secure new partner accounts to carry our products.
Manage relationships & develop growth opportunities within existing partner accounts.
Create, develop and maintain distributor partnerships by building strong relationships with buyers, marketing and sales personnel.
Be held accountable to exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue and partner account budgets.
Create, Influence & Attend Events:
Build relationships with community leaders, media, and other influencers in the Territory by attending various networking and community events.
Drive brand awareness via community and partner events & product demos. We estimate that you’ll conduct 1 to 2 events per week.
Collaborate with the Circle Team (Non-Sales Activities):
Partner with Operations & Marketing to deliver a consistent message & product to the Territory.
Meet 1:1 with the On-Premise Sales & Distribution Leader monthly to discuss professional development opportunities to grow your career and bring ideas on how you can help make the role and company better.
Attend Quarterly Sales Retreats to build and maintain relationships with other Territory Leader – Beverage On-Premise Sales
Participate in Quarterly Culture Workshops with the entire Full Time Circle Team
In a typical week you will…
Connect with decision makers at various restaurants, bars, coffee shops, offices (and more), showcasing Circle products and sharing our mission.
Display a pleasant and persistent mindset in following up with leads and prospects to convince them that Circle products need to be in their beverage program.
Come up with strategic and creative ways to contact and engage leads, prospects and partner accounts.
Get the behind the scenes view of some of the most high-profile restaurant concepts in the territory…a view most people never get to see.
Review monthly reporting to identify areas within your existing book of business where there is room for improvement.
Schedule ride-alongs with distributor sales reps to engage their customers and make new Circle placements within their existing accounts.
Refer interested partner accounts to Circle distributor partners to facilitate delivery of Circle products.
Participate in the weekly sales meeting to review Circle On-Premise Sales numbers, share ideas, learn from others and brainstorm ways the team can get better.
What experiences are we looking for you to have?
Positivity, Drive and Excitement to help in Circle’s mission to help people find balance and feel good. One sip at a time.
2+ years experience in field Sales and/or Account Management with a track record of hitting growth targets *Food & Beverage industry is a plus, but not required.
Willingness to travel to Indianapolis frequently for training and team-building.
Experience using a sales CRM platform (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) is preferred.
Demonstrated background in developing relationships through persistence & relatability.
Ability to hear the word “no” and still maintain a positive attitude.
Excellent communicator and storyteller.
Creative, opportunistic, out-of-the-box thinker.
Driven to grow professionally and excel in a results-based environment.
Eagerness to share and implement new ideas to make Circle (and you!) better.

The Territory Leader – Beverage On-Premise Sales, Chicago will receive a base salary with commission opportunities. A competitive expense management package is included.
